1. About MDataWorks

MDataWorks is a vehicle intelligence business based in the United Kingdom, managed and operated by David Rutherford.

2. The MDataWorks Vehicle Report

2.1 The MDataWorks Vehicle Report is a digital product delivered by email following successful payment. Reports are available for UK-registered BMW vehicles only.

2.2 Reports are compiled from multiple data sources and are provided for information purposes only. The report does not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice.

2.3 Reports are compiled from multiple independent data sources. Whilst MDataWorks takes care to ensure accuracy and uses only reputable sources, the completeness and accuracy of third-party data cannot be guaranteed. We accept no liability for decisions made in reliance on the contents of a report.

2.4 The report is prepared specifically for the vehicle registration or VIN provided at the time of order and is intended for the personal use of the purchaser. The contents may be shared freely, including in vehicle sale listings, on social media platforms, and on automotive enthusiast forums, but the report may not be resold as a standalone product or used for commercial data purposes.

2.5 Once a report has been delivered by email, no refund is available as the digital product has been fulfilled.

2.6 Where MDataWorks is unable to produce a report for the requested vehicle, a full refund will be issued.

3. Ordering and Payment

3.1 Payment is processed securely by SumUp. MDataWorks does not store your card details.

3.2 By placing an order, you confirm that the vehicle registration or VIN you have provided is correct. MDataWorks accepts no responsibility for reports produced against an incorrectly entered registration.

3.3 MDataWorks aims to deliver reports promptly following payment. Every report is personally reviewed before despatch to ensure quality and accuracy - you will always receive a report that has been checked by a real person, not an automated system. During office hours, most reports are reviewed and despatched within minutes of payment being received. Whilst rare, please allow up to 24 hours in case of any delay.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1 Original MDataWorks content, including text, data, methodologies, and report formats, is the intellectual property of MDataWorks and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without permission. Third-party images reproduced on this website are used for the purposes of review and public interest reporting.

4.2 The mileage blocker detection methodology developed by MDataWorks - including the cross-referencing of odometer data against DME oil life depletion rates across multiple recorded readings - is proprietary to MDataWorks. This analytical approach, and the algorithms underpinning it, may not be replicated, reverse-engineered, or commercially exploited without express written permission.

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1 MDataWorks shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website or reliance on report content. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.

5.2 Our total liability to you in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount paid for that order.

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

7. Changes to These Terms

MDataWorks reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the website following any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
